README.TXT- MANUALS ON CD

GENERAL INFORMATION:

The faster your computer, and particularly the better your
monitor card and monitor resolution, the better results you will
have with the CD programs and files.  If you experience any

ADOBE ACROBAT READER INFORMATION:

This CD contains all installation software for the most
current Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 3.0).  (Due to space
limitations, the MAC install is only on Volume 1 [ECR-5116B]).

Each type of computer and operating system has its own
README file under the subdirectory (or folder) ACROREAD. 
The files are README_M.MAC for Macintosh, README_U.TXT
for UNIX and README_W.WRI for Windows.

The Reader with SEARCH is the Reader to install to take
advantage of the hypertext index search function.

INSTALLATION

If you have a previously installed version of Acrobat
Reader, install this version (3.0) "over" it to make use
of the latest features found on this CD.

FINAL INSTRUCTIONS:

The first file (PDF) you should open once Reader is installed and
opened is START.PDF.  It is in the root directory of this CD.

This file contains links to the Introduction (an overview of this CD),
Helpful Information (a guide for setting up the Reader for optimum 
use and basic instructions on how to use the CD), an explanation
of the Ericsson document numbering system, and the main index
of documents found on both volume 1 and volume 2 of Manuals On CD.

If you know which file (LBI or SRN) you wish to view, you can open them
directly from their respective subdirectories or through the search
function.
