Since Feb 2017 new server name and credentials is: ftp.radiosoftware.online, login radiosoftware / password radiosoftware. Use new hostname instead of any old hostnames or IP address.
Login name radiosoftware offers only guest access with no ability to download. You still can upload files, but not download them. Paid members must use their all individual login names and password sent in initial e-mail from us.
Don't use Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer as FTP client they are piece of shit. Use professional FTP client, like:
Don't try to use more than 1 (one!) instance of FTP client at the same time.
Don't try to open more than 1 (one!) connection (session) with FTP server! Set up your FTP client properly. Change settings of your FileZilla as shown:
Use Site Manager (in terms of FileZilla) to save your connection. Do not use things like Quick Connect. Why it does matter? You can make a small mistake when you enter your credentials, and get automatically banned. Also it prevents user mistakes, like using wrong server name. Save your FTP connection and use it all the time in future!
If your FTP client is in Active mode (aka PORT mode) and you unable to get directory/file listing from FTP server, try Passive mode instead; And vice versa! The trial and error method works great here.
Also, don't try to change FTP port from default #21. Changing port to something else will cause automatic IP ban for 1 week, because our system thinks that it's port scan.
If you able to work with FTP server, but experiencing spontaneous connection drops/timeouts in first 10 minutes (while you absolutely sure that your Internet connection is OK), try to temporary turn off Microsoft Windows Firewall. If you run on Windows XP, instead of disabling Windows Firewall you can try to terminate alg.exe process (by pressing CTRL + ALT + DEL) or stop Application Layer Gateway service in services.msc applet (ALG isn't unnecessary for normal Windows operation).
