FTP readme

Firstly, we hope that you read FAQ. If NO, go ahead and read.

This section explains how to use FTP (don't mix up with HTTP(S)!). If you're member or want to become a member, please read through below placed information!

FTP SERVER RULES
  1. GENERAL
    1. There is no access for freeloaders! Absolutely no! To get access you must upload something from wanted list or become a paid member. There are only 2 options!

    2. This server is for advanced users who interested in radio software;

    3. This server is not for radio dummies, beginners, people who want something hot and sweet for nothing, freeloaders, etc.

    4. There are no downloads for common radiosoftware / radiosoftware account, for guest / anonymous account, etc.;

    5. If you want to discuss membership, you must share some useful or/and rare radio related files with us, for e.g.: RSS, CPS and other radio software, firmware, service manuals & etc.

  2. REQUIREMENTS TO THE CONTENT
    1. Only things from Wanted list;

    2. For people who don't understand from the first time — other files will not be accepted as contribution. For e.g. hamradio freeware progs, hamradio manuals, ad brochures, spec sheets & etc.;

    3. Also, we don't want your junk like TYT, TYTERA, Baofeng, Puxing, widely used hamradio software, Chinese 'Kenwood' and similar stuff. We hate all these shit.

    4. Also we no need files available from popular web-sites, like is mods.dk, ham.dmz.ro, cqham.ru, hackersrussia.ru, repeater-builder.com and other public collections.

    5. Also, we have access to most current Motorola, Kenwood and Hytera software.

    6. All files conflicting with specified above items will be deleted.

  3. HOW TO UPLOAD
    1. Please find appropriate directory to your content, for e.g. /KENWOOD/SOFTWARE/ if you want to upload Kenwood software, /MOTOROLA/SERVICE_MANUALs/ if you want to upload Motorola service manual & etc.;

    2. All files uploaded in root directories will be deleted;

    3. Compress all your data in ZIP or RAR archive; Please don't use password protection for archives;

    4. Create description file for your archive(s). Use the same name with added ".txt" extension, for e.g. "kpg-100.rar.txt"; Describe here contents of archive: brand (for e.g. Kenwood), applicable radios (for e.g. TK-880), file type (for e.g. Service manual or FPU) & etc.;

    5. Upload created archive in appropriate directory (see step # 3.1.);

    6. Please use Latin characters only in filenames.

    7. Also, as well as FTP, you can upload your stuff to cloud storages (Mega.nz preferred).

  4. ARE YOU DONE? WHAT FURTHER?
    1. Send an e-mail to us: moc.liamnotorp@erawtfosoidar with FTP path (e.g. /KENWOOD/SOFTWARE/KPG-100D_v1.40.zip) or link to the any popular cloud storage;

    2. Wait for reply for a day or a few;

    3. If your contribution is junk, useless or violate the rules, we reserve right to keep silence and to do not hit you back.

  5. SERVER LIMITATIONS
    1. Password protected uploads will be deleted.

    2. Non-completed uploads (for e.g. connection fails, user breaks & etc.) will be deleted. In this case, re-upload your file from the beginning.

  6. TECHNICAL ISSUES
    1. Don't use Internet Explorer as FTP client; Please use correctly working FTP clients, like FileZilla (freely available);

    2. Don't try to open more than 1 (ONE!) connection with FTP server!!! Set up your FTP client appropriately and don't try to run more than 1 instance of FTP client;

    3. Are you a member and having problems with FTP server? You have read all above, read through initial setup guide se sent you and still having problems with FTP server, e-mail us to: moc.liamnotorp@erawtfosoidar.

  7. PRIVACY
    1. We keep private any information on users of this server, for example, IP-addresses, e-mails & etc. Therefore, you can feel yourselves in safety.
